BOUNDARY PLATE
The boundary plate holds information on up to which point can the equipment on the tracks move without interfering with incoming traffic on adjacent tracks.
The boundary plate is a same kind of rail marking plate installed onto the rail as the geometry plate.
Instead of marking the plate with a marker or paint, the markings are done with a piece of adhesive film attached to the plate. The size of the boundary plate varies, with the size of the rail.
